Monday, September 22 - Registration Opens
On the first day of SpaceWire 2014 registration will be available from 14:00 until 18:00 in the hotel lobby. Once you have registered do not miss out on the opportunity to meet new SpaceWire enthusiasts and to socialise with the SpaceWire community.
Optional Centre of Athens Walking Tour
€32 (includes cost of bus)
At 8am the bus will leave the Divani Apollon Hotel for the centre of Athens. The Walking tour will commence at 9am and last approximately 2 hours. The bus will leave Athens approximately 13:30 to return to the hotel . The first stop will be at the Athens Marble Stadium, where the 1st modern Olympic Games of 1896 AD took place. Drive in front of the Parliament and Syntagma Square and walk through the Zappeion palace and gardens. Continue walking to the temple of Zeus (entrance fee included) and the Arch of Hadrian. The last part is the old picturesque district of Plaka, just under Acropolis, where there will be some free time for souvenirs, shopping etc. Please note that this tour will not include the Acroplis.

Tuesday, September 23 - Cocktail Reception
A cocktail reception will be held at the picturesque Yacht Club of Greece (www.ygc.gr). The SpaceWire 2014 attendees will meet at the hotel lobby and will be transferred by buses to the place.
The main club house is situated on the top of a hill which forms a small peninsula with a unique view of the Phaleron Bay, the Saronic Gulf and the islands of Salamis, Aegina and Poros as well as the city of Athens with its surrounding mountains.
The SpaceWire attendees and their guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of the small marinas of Zea and Mikrolimano bursting with life. The mouthwatering cocktails made by award winning bartenders together with a special buffet dinner will enhance this once in a life time experience.
Transportation and cocktail reception costs are included with your SpaceWire 2014 registration.
Wednesday, September 24 - Visit to Acropolis Museum and Gala Dinner
The Gala Dinner and Evening will start off with a tour of the Acropolis Museum (www.theacropolismuseum.gr/en).
SpaceWire 2014 attendees will be transferred by buses to the newly built Acropolis museum where they will be given a full guided tour. This award winning museum will give attendees the chance to explore galleries and exhibitions based on the findings from the archaeological site of the Acropolis which date back to the Greek Bronze Age.
This glimse into the history of the Acropolis will be followed by a dinner at Dionysos restaurant (http://www.dionysoszonars.gr/) which is located on the outskirst of the Acropolis. Dionysos restaurant's prime location combined with the high quality dishes will make your gastronomical journey into the flavors of the Greek cuisine unforgettable.

Friday, September 26 - Optional half-day tour to Sounion (€56)
An optional half-day tour starting in th morning to the Sounion temple will be offered to all of the attendees and their guests who wish to explore the marvelous Athenian Riviera and visit the temple of Poseidon. Situated 69 km south of Athens, a visit to Sounion has to offer a remarkably wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road and a breath taking panoramic view. A visit to a wonderful nearby beach is included. The separate registration for the Sounion tour can be done through the tour provider's website.
